Construction of indicators of social reintegration of juvenile offenders in criminal law

This report corresponds to the final delivery of the study, "Construction of indicators of social reintegration of young offenders from the criminal law", awarded by Fundacion Paz Ciudadana in public bidding conducted by the Ministry of Justice.

The study consists of two core analysis: prospective and retrospective. The prospective analysis refers to the estimation of recidivism of people sentenced under the law of Adolescent Criminal Responsibility in the first year of enactment. Recidivism rates are assessed for a follow-up period of one year. All data are used nationally. Rates are estimated for different categories of stratification variables (sex, age, region, type of intervention, crime, institution name, project name, antecedents, present interim). All stages of construction of SPSS file from which are the tests is documented in a replicable to construction. Also deep analysis was made for the same purpose. Estimated recidivism rates and discussed throughout this report refer to the results of the prospective analysis.
